At the time of my admission, I went through the following procedure:
1. Filled up the admission form and the hostel form.
2. Made the Demand Draft of the required amount (for college admission)
3. Made the three affidavits (including the hostel)
4. Made the Medical Certificate in the prescribed format
5. Took all the original documents along with two photocopies (if in case required) related to Class 10th and

Each and every department including civil department has 20 seats for lateral entry.
Out of which, 1 seat is reserved for SC, 1-2 for ST and 4-5 for OBC.

In JGEC, for C.S.E your rank must be max 600.
For EE-200

Chances are very low but you can try your best to get this college in the last round of the counselling, but there are many other good colleges in that you can take admission.

With your SC rank 3886, you won't get any good branch in Jadavpur University, but you will get any branch in other government engineering college like KALYANI government engineering college and Jalpaiguri government engineering college.
