If you're planning to study or work outside J&K, or apply for national level exams or universities, NIOS is more versatile and better recognized.

If you're planning to stay in Jammu & Kashmir only, JKBOSE is perfectly valid.

NIOS is more recognised and flexible overall.

No, your school cannot deny you the JKBOSE 12th admit card even if you have skipped the pre-boards exam. If they still go on to deny you the admit card, you can contact the board asking them to issue your JKBOSE 12th admit card in duplicate as your school has failed to give you. JKBOSE 12th admit card is issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE).

Students are advised to keep the JKBOSE 12th admit card till the release of results as it contains roll number and other important details of students which are required to enter to check results. Thus, students must secure this important doc with them.

Students need not apply online for JKBOSE 12th admit card, if it is lost. They must immediately inform their school authorities. They will help you with new one. Students will not be allowed to appear for the Class 12th board exam without the admit card. JKBOSE 12th admit card is a mandatory document to carry for the JKBOSE 12th board exams. Students should carry the admit card daily on all exam days.
