If you're planning to study or work outside J&K, or apply for national level exams or universities, NIOS is more versatile and better recognized.

If you're planning to stay in Jammu & Kashmir only, JKBOSE is perfectly valid.

NIOS is more recognised and flexible overall.

The Arts stream in Class 11 offers a wide range of subjects focused on humanities and social sciences. Common subjects include History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, and English. It's a great choice if you're interested in civil services, law, journalism, teaching, or social work. The stream develops analytical and communication skills.

No, your school cannot deny you the JKBOSE 12th admit card even if you have skipped the pre-boards exam. If they still go on to deny you the admit card, you can contact the board asking them to issue your JKBOSE 12th admit card in duplicate as your school has failed to give you. JKBOSE 12th admit card is issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE).
