For admission to the BSc course at Kalasalingam University, applicants are required to have a minimum of 50% in Class 12. Candidates must pass the entrance examination/ qualify on the merit list to be eligible for admission to BSc programmes. Every semester at Kalasalingam University, the BCom in Professional Accounting programme includes core subjects. Students enrolled in the BCom programme must complete the required core subjects in order to earn university-mandated credits. The names of the core subjects are- Financial Accounting - I, Financial Accounting - II, Corporate Accounting, Entrepreneurial Development, Partnership Accounting, Marketing Management, Organisational Behaviour, Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility, Financial Analysis & Reporting, etc.

No, candidates with 55% in their Class 12 are not eligible to get Kalasalingam University BCom scholarships. However, they are eligible to apply to the university for admission into the BCom course. To get a scholarship of 10% tuition fee concession, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of more than 60% in their Class 12.
