Kalinga University does not require a CUET exam for admission to its B.Sc program. To be eligible, candidates need to have passed 12th grade with a minimum of 40% marks and pass the university's entrance exam, KALSEE. 

Kalinga University and Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus (SSTC) have different strengths. 

 Some say Kalinga University is a good option for higher studies, with a nice campus and well-maintained gardens. 

 Others say the university has good teachers, and the computer lab is good. 

 SSTC is an engineering college that some say is the best in Chhattisgarh.

PRSU is a government entity, whereas Kalinga University is a reputed private institute in Raipur. Both universities offer a full-time BA LLB course. The process of admission in the Kalinga University is on the basis of the merit list of the students, it's not so hard to take admission in the University but not so simple too. University takes its entrance exam names KALSEE (Kalinga Scholastic entrance exam), it is a computer based test which is conducted in various cities of India and passing marks for this exam is about 50% marks ( exam has no negative marking). A student with minimum 40% marks in 12th is applicable for filling of admission form in Kalinga University so 60% marks in 12th is also eligible for B.Sc in the admission in the university.      

 The admission seats in the university varies from course to course in the university. The student who has passed his/her 12th with 45% marks can apply for admission. The university conducts it's own entrance exam KALSEE (kalinga Scholastic entrance exam) for admission in various courses, and the number of seats in B.Sc depends on various factors such as how many students has applied for the B.Sc programme and it may vary time to time and depends on some factors such as  vailabilityof seats, eligibility criteria, and the number of applicant's actions received by the university in that year .
