Yes, you may join Kanpur Institute of Technology without JEE Main, but with direct admission against vacant seats only, which account for 15% of total seats under management/NRI quota. Otherwise, admission is by entrance examinations like JEE Main, JEECUP, or CUET (NTA), as the case may be, based on the course. For B.Tech courses like IT, JEE Main is necessary, and for Diploma courses like Civil Engineering, JEECUP is necessary.

Yes, Kanpur Institute of Technology (KIT) provides fee refunds as per AICTE/PCI/AKTU guidelines. Students can apply for a 100% refund before the course starts (whether online or offline). After the course begins, refunds are only granted in exceptional cases, with the percentage decreasing over time: 80% within 15 days, 60% within 30 days, 40% within 45 days, and no refund after 45 days.

Having the degree of BBA from Kanpur Institute of Technology (KIT) you will be provided many placements in different cities of India. As far as placements are concerned, KIT is pretty average with every year, up to 70 percent to 80 percent of students being placed. The estimated salary package for the BBA students has been INR 3- 4 Lacs per annum and the maximum package being offered up to INR 6- 7 Lacs per annum.
