Then, based on the above factors you want see, decide the college, which is available for those courses in your particular academic year (it varies), then make the decision.

Hi,If you are talking about Engineering courses for example, then COMEDK is an entrance exam taken up by students across India in order to get entry into engineering colleges. For students from Karnataka, CET is the entrance exam taken up in most general case. There are instances where some colleges conduct special exam on behalf of their respective college and University for the entry.

For mining branch, the on-campus placements are very low, it's less than 30% and even low for the batches I saw. None of my friends from Mining department got placed in the campus and many of them have pointer 8.5+. Later, they got jobs through off-campus placements, that's a different story.
