The basic criterion of eligibility needed to be met for admission to the course is a Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognised educational Board, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and/ or Math as main subjects and a minimum aggregate score of 55%. However, a few private universities in India conduct their own entrance tests for evaluating and admitting students to the course. Regards.

The online applications for University of Mysore (UOM) is now open on its admissions portal. The University will select students through a written test. From this year onwards, University Of Mysore will centrally process PG admissions for PG programs through this online portal for its four campuses at Manasagangothri, Mandya, Hassan and Chamarajanagar. Interested aspirants for the undergraduate degree must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria. Completion of 10+2 or High School Senior Secondary exam by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or equivalent
A minimum score of 50% aggregate at 10+2 level
English as a subject at HSC
All SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate
