No, there is no entrance exam. The only eligibility they have is the candidate must have B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA with mathematics as one of the subjects and a minimum aggregate score of 50% in all optional (throughout 3 years B.Sc. / BCA course) or B.Sc. PCM with PG Diploma / Certificate in computer science, of duration one year.

Sorry to say but you haven't cleared JEE Mains required cutoff. So, there is no way to get a good college for free. You may get admission in a private college based on your 12th percentage.

If your rank in engineering is 1034 you can get mechanical in any college through KCET counselling. I would recommend you to put RVCE first and then DSU, PESIT and MSRIT.

You may opt for Bangalore University and Pondicherry University, as both offer B.Com in distance mode. Karnataka Open University has been banned by UGC, so don't opt and any other university does not have any jurisdiction in Bangalore. You may also opt IGNOU.
