As for the MBA programme of the KSRDPRU, Gadag the cutoff marks involved, are solely based on the entrance examination score and previous academic performance of the candidate. MBA programme students should have MAT/CAT/CMAT score with MAT/CAT/CMAT percentile score 50 percentile aggregate/ average percentage of the Bachelor's degree examination.

KSRDPRU (Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University), Gadag, is mostly a Tier II University. Whereas, it offers postgraduate degree in Rural Development, Panchayat Raj, Governance etc., it is not of similar stature as that of National or International Standard as that of Tier 1 institutions, IITs, NITs, Central Universities, etc.

In the final placement drive of 2023 of KSRDPRU, Gadag, nearly 26 companies had placed their offer, thus offering a variety of jobs for the graduating students. It was also observed that the placements in particular were themed based like Rural development, Governance, Corporate Social Responsibly (CSR) and job in Government organizations and NGOs etc. These companies provided many types of jobs suitable to the expertise of these graduates, especially in rural management and fields of relevance.

Yes you can get direct admission in M.A. Economics in KSRDPRU GADAG if you fulfill the admission criteria. The general clause as per this exam demands a Bachelor's degree in Economics or any related field securing more than 50% for the general category and 45% for SC/ ST category from any recognised University.

Regarding admission students are admitted on merit basis and there is no written test just to qualify the admission. Nevertheless, if the university undertakes an entrance exam for certain courses in the year of admission, then you will have to sit for that. The fees for various courses at Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University is affordable like:

1. MBA in Rural Management: The fee is between forty to fifty Thousand Rupees per year.


2. M.Sc. in Geoinformatics: This fee is estimated between Rupees Thirty Thousand to Rupees Forty Thousand per year.


3. MA in Rural Development and Panchayat Raj: The fees are standard at about Rs 25000 – Rs 30000 per annum.


4. PG Diploma Programs: These programs cost between fifteen to twenty thousand rupees per year.
