KCET 2025 syllabus is designed based on the first and second-year Pre-University Course (PUC) syllabi, that are followed for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, and Kannada for a few candidates. Each of the subjects has key topics including mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, and modern physics in Physics; physical, inorganic, and organic chemistry in Chemistry; algebra, calculus, and statistics in Mathematics; and botany and zoology in Biology. In Karnataka, various universities offer B.Ed. programmes through correspondence or distance learning. The notable institutions that provide B.Ed. are the Karnataka State Open University, Mysuru which provides B.Ed. in distance mode, and IGNOU with a regional centre in Bengaluru, that provides B.Ed. through distance education. The University of Mysore also offers B.Ed. through distance learning and Bangalore University offers a distance education programme for B.Ed., subject to the approval. Prior to applying to the program, one must check the eligibility criteria and course details together with whether the programme was approved from the respective university.
