This would entirely depend on the programme and the institute in Bangalore, as the city has many engineering colleges. Ideally, you can look at the top-ranked B.Tech institutes in Bangalore, ranked by NIRF or other ranking bodies that place institutes at higher positions based on teaching, placements, and other factors. For instance, IIIT Bangalore which has the 69Th position in NIRF ranking has a fee of INR 26 Lakh, while the average placements stand at INR 33 Lakh.

The campus of GIBS Mind Valley stretches over 10 acres of beautiful green land and provides a tranquil and refreshing atmosphere for students to decompress, concentrate, and have an enjoyable college experience each day. Being surrounded by ample green space and nature makes it convenient for students to relax between their periods of classes and gives them a break from both city noises and academic pressure. Furthermore, walking paths, grassy lawns and nature can help ease tension, enhance concentration, and boost overall mental health. At GIBS Bangalore, almost all students get internship opportunities during their course. The college helps students connect with many companies in areas like marketing, finance, HR, IT, and consulting, so nearly every student can gain real work experience.

For the stipend, most internships offer around ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 per month, though some top companies may give more. Overall, students get good exposure to industry work and earn a reasonable stipend while learning.

I have stayed in the hostel at the GIBS new campus, Bangalore, and my experience was good. The hostel rooms are spacious and comfortable, with enough space for beds, study tables, cupboards, and easy movement. The rooms are well-ventilated, so it feels open and pleasant. The common areas like the TV room and sitting spaces are also big and clean, which makes it nice to relax or spend time with friends. Overall, staying in the GIBS hostel was comfortable and made campus life enjoyable.
