IIIT Dharwad does not offer scholarship of its own. However students can apply for various scholarships offered by central government and state government such as National Scholarships for Higher Education Potsmatric scholarship etc. Students can visit official scholarship portal and apply for scholarship. Syudents must also check eligibility criteria before applying for any scholarship.

IIIT Dharwad admission is based on the entrance exam, namely JEE Main. Hence, candidates need to secure ranks and not percentile for admission. Candidates can refer to the table below to know the closing ranks for various BTech specialisations:
