The fee structure goes till  around 2.3 Lacs for the MCA but average fee is around 1.4 lakh.

There must be a minimum of 50% in the undergraduate course. And after successful completion of UG course then you have to take Karnataka PGCET.

Seat reservations are as per government rules by following the CET result for SC category, ST category, OBC category and General catagory mainly.

There is a seperate cut-off ranking each year. As per the seat availability the reservations are categorised. Good results are always fruitful. Apart from CET there is one more exam called ComedK even in that you can get few seat reservations as per the results.

There is a management quota also for which you have to pay more fee as per college guidelines.

The entrance test is a gateway for admissions to 2nd-year undergraduate engineering programmes and 1st-year undergraduate architecture programmes offered under the lateral entry scheme. The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) releases a notification announcing the DCET application process, important date, eligibility criteria, and other relevant information in the official website.

There is nothing particular like the best course at NIE. They treat all courses as equal. All facilities empower your knowledge.

But yes if you are asking in the perspective to the placement then IT sector obviously has more scope just like other colleges but also NIE is more famous for its Mechanical department also.

You have wider scope in artificial intelligence and machines learning also as there are 2 campuses of NIE. These courses which are newly introduce will give you a better scope in future.
