NIE believes in creating a generation of students who are not only academically brilliant but also talented in subjects outside of the classroom. Theatre workshops, State-level debate competitions, inter-collegiate cultural festivals, talks and seminars, and quiz competitions students at NIE are given the opportunity to participate in various cultural activities based on their interests. All the activities planned in the college are designed carefully to give the students exposure to different worldviews on current issues and trends, debate competitions tackling subjects of social relevance, discussions on topics such as philosophy, Science, and technology, and music competitions. Most probable these activities are conducted by several clubs.
