The selection to MBA course by Manipal University is based on CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT with at least 40 percentile. Candidates who have not appeared for any of the entrance exam can appear for online aptitude test by Manipal University. For all other MBA courses, selection is based on merit in the last qualifying exam.

Ideally it is recommended that a candidate should score between 518 to 450 NEET marks for seeking admission to MBBS institutes in the state of Karnataka. Government colleges generally accept students with a good cutoff score as competition is high there.

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) releases the cutoff for Karnataka NEET counselling for government and private colleges for the year 2025 for Round-1 counselling. 9,133 MBBS and 2,619 BDS seats and 150 seats of St. John's Medical College in the state will be allotted through the Karnataka NEET admission 2025.
