A pass in Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 60% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics and with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies or pass in Class 12 Vocational stream (with the subjects General Machinist, Electrical Machines and Appliances, Electronic Equipments, Draughtsman Civil, Auto Mechanic, Textile Technology, etc.) with any of the Engineering related subjects, namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with average aggregate of 50% put together is required to apply for the BTech course. Additionally, candidates must pass Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or pass in Class 12 or equivalent examination in the first attempt with at least 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Zoology/ Botany/ Computer Science (provided the candidate has not studied Mathematics in Class 12) to apply for BTech Biotechnology/ Food Processing Technology.

Yes, admission to BTech course is based on JEE Main/ KEE score. KEE or Karunya Entrance Examination conducted every year for admission to UG courses of Engineering, Agriculture, Biosciences, Criminology, Management, Media, Design, Nursing, Health science, Data Science, Forensic Science, Commerce, Nanoscience, Optometry. The exam is conducted in online mode. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification. Karunya University offers four-year BTech course divided into eight semesters through the School of Engineering & Technology in 33 specialisations, namely Aerospace, Civil, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Electronics & Computer, Electronics & Communication, etc. Candidates after completing Class 12 can apply for any of the BTech specialisations. Apart from the regular BTech course, the university also provides lateral entry to 14 BTech specialisations, namely Aerospace, Civil, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning), Electronics and Computer Engineering, etc. 

MBA is a two-year course offered in seven specialisations. In this course, students learn related to all the core areas of Management in the first year of study. In the second year, the students are given an option to choose specialised areas in management such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Analytics, and Entrepreneurship. During the course, the students will take internships and get trained in companies to gain the skills required in management.
