Kaziranga University eligibility may change depending on the course and even specialisation. But, the common eligibility for the university is as below:

• Kaziranga University UG eligibility - Complete Class 12 from a recognised board
• Kaziranga University PG eligibility - UG degree from a recognised university

Kaziranga University MSc eligibility requires students to pass graduation (BSc or equivalent) in the relevant field from a recognised university. Students must have achieved a minimum aggreggate of 50%-45% (45%- 40% for SC/ ST students). Kaziranga University offers a full-time undergraduate degree in BTech across multiple specialisations. To be eligible for the course, students need to have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology as one of the subjects with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% aggregate for SC/ ST category). To be eligible for BTech admission at Kaziranga University, applicants must have  passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational as one of the subjects. They must have obtained at least 45% in the above subjects taken together. The minimum aggregate scored required for SC/ST candidates is 40% as a relaxation of 5% is provided to them. Additionally, the university may require applicants to have qualified in one of the accepted entrance exams, such as JEE, Assam CEE and KUEST.

Kaziranga University offers a BA (Hons) in Sociology. To be eligible to pursue BA (Hons) at the university, applicants must have passed Class 12 in the stream of Arts/Science/Commerce from any recognised board. They must have scored at least 45% in Class 12. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category must have obtained a minimum of 40% in Class 12 to be eligible for admission.

To be eligible to pursue DPharma at Kaziranga Universty, applicants must have passed Class 12/equivalent examination with Phyiscs, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology (PCM/PCB) and English as a compulsory subject. They must have scored at least 40% in the Class 12/equivalent examination. Additionally, candidates must have qualified in the Pharmacy Entrance Examination conducted by SSUHS. They must also present the necessary documents supporting their eligbility at the time of admission.

Kaziranga University provides merit-based scholarships of up to 100% through its Special Scholarship Scheme for National Students. In the discpline of Commerce, Kaziranga University offers a BCom (Hons) course at the undergraduate level. The eligibility criteria for the BCom (Hons) course at Kaziranga University require applicants to have scored a minimum of 50% in Class 12 or equivalent examination in the stream of Commerce or Science from an approved board. They must also present the necessary documents supporting their eligibility at the time of admission.
