Kaziranga University Eligibility

Kaziranga University BTech final selection depends on fulfilling basic eligibility norms and entrance scores. The university considers national or state-level engineering entrance exam performance during shortlisting. Candidates who meet the required cut-off marks receive an official admission offer.

Candidates holding a Diploma can secure direct 2nd-year admission into the Kaziranga University BTech lateral entry program. Applicants need a minimum of 45% marks in their Diploma exams. Reserved categories require 40%. Alternatively, BSc graduates with Mathematics in 10+2 can also apply.

Kaziranga University MSc eligibility requires students to pass graduation (BSc or equivalent) in the relevant field from a recognised university. Students must have achieved a minimum aggreggate of 50%-45% (45%- 40% for SC/ ST students). Kaziranga University offers a full-time undergraduate degree in BTech across multiple specialisations. To be eligible for the course, students need to have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology as one of the subjects with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% aggregate for SC/ ST category). To be eligible for BTech admission at Kaziranga University, applicants must have  passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational as one of the subjects. They must have obtained at least 45% in the above subjects taken together. The minimum aggregate scored required for SC/ST candidates is 40% as a relaxation of 5% is provided to them. Additionally, the university may require applicants to have qualified in one of the accepted entrance exams, such as JEE, Assam CEE and KUEST.

Kaziranga University offers a BA (Hons) in Sociology. To be eligible to pursue BA (Hons) at the university, applicants must have passed Class 12 in the stream of Arts/Science/Commerce from any recognised board. They must have scored at least 45% in Class 12. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category must have obtained a minimum of 40% in Class 12 to be eligible for admission.

To be eligible to pursue DPharma at Kaziranga Universty, applicants must have passed Class 12/equivalent examination with Phyiscs, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology (PCM/PCB) and English as a compulsory subject. They must have scored at least 40% in the Class 12/equivalent examination. Additionally, candidates must have qualified in the Pharmacy Entrance Examination conducted by SSUHS. They must also present the necessary documents supporting their eligbility at the time of admission.
