No, students are not allowed to get direct admissions to the M.Tech course at KCG College of Technology. As per the brochure available on the website, students need to follow all the procedures to get a seat.

The eligibility requirements for the MTech/ ME course are that students should complete the BTech/ BE degree in a stream relevant to applying ME course with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Also, for selecting the students, the college considers an acceptable score of PG entrance exam, i.e., GATE or CEETA.

KCG College of Technology does not accept any scores for admission to BTech courses. However, it accepts the cutoff scores from the TNEA counselling, and this counselling releases the ranks/ cutoff of students after evaluating their scores in HSC (specifically PCM).

The ranking for the BTech course at KCG College of Technology has been improved YOY basis. Not from only one ranking body/ agency. From multiple ranking bodies, the UG engineering course at KCG College of Technology has been improved, like, Times, India Today, etc.
