I like my college life, because of my campus.

Placements: In our batch, there are 600 students. The placement percentage each year is up to 80% to 90%. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 7-9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Zoho, TCS, and Amazon. Around 70% of students secure internships, which are provided by our college.

Infrastructure: In our college, Wi-Fi is available for a certain period, and if we want to access it, we should ask permission from the office. The mess is average but neat and clean. There is a clinic in our college. There are grounds available to play different types of games.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and they will clear all our doubts in the classroom itself. If we want to clarify more number of doubts, we can meet them in their cabins. The pass percentage for semester exams is 95%.

Other: I chose this course because I have a passion for Computer Science courses and there are practical sessions of 48 hours per semester. We can enjoy and do whatever we want to learn and they will also teach us many new technical skills. The college could improve the cultural activities. Campus crowd is average, which could be managed.

I love my college ambiance and infrastructure with greenery all around.

Placements: Placements are not at a high level, but we can expect a minimum salary package of 3.5 LPA, which can go up to 12 LPA and above. Recruiters include Kriyadocx, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Alibi, HCL, TCS, and many more small companies that hire us in the college. More companies are expected in the upcoming year.

Infrastructure: For infrastructure, I would give 9 out of 10. The ambiance of the college is very good, and lab facilities are of a high level. Wi-Fi availability, space for project development, staff support, and HOD of the department are all excellent, beyond what we would expect at this level.

Faculty: Faculty members are at the top level, very polite and friendly to students. Curriculum is highly relevant to the course. Semesters are easy from my point of view, as our college is now autonomous, so no issues with that. Pass percentage is always above 97%, for sure.

Other: My interest in the computer science field is what made me choose this course.

Placements: KCG College of Technology is a good placement college. In the 2021 passed-out batch, 94% of students were placed in reputable companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Accenture, and Wipro. These companies visit our college campus for interviews. The average salary packages range from INR 20,000 to 50,000 per month.

Infrastructure: KCG College of Technology is located in an eco-friendly area. The college provides good classroom facilities, and the entire campus is equipped with CCTV cameras for security. This ensures that no one can move without permission, with additional security measures in place for female students. The hostel rooms are maintained daily, and the hostel mess food is hygienic. However, the sports ground facilities are somewhat limited.

Faculty: KCG College of Technology offers more than 15 courses, including master’s degree programs, with experienced and knowledgeable professors. They guide all students, leading to a pass percentage of over 95% in university exams. The department staff members are friendly and very helpful regarding placements.

Other: The college conducts numerous extracurricular activities, such as paper presentations and workshops every semester. Participating students receive certificates and scholarships. The college also organizes various festival events, and the laboratory facilities are excellent.

Teaching Was Good and the College Campus Was Good

Placements: Moreover, 75 percent of students get placed in companies, but only a few secure positions in big companies with good packages. The highest package is 14 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average package is 4.5 LPA. HCL, Zoho, TCS, and a few more companies are available for my course. For internships, we have to search for companies on our own.

Infrastructure: The college campus is good, fully covered with plants and trees. Each department has separate classrooms and laboratories according to the course, and there is one common library for all students. However, college Wi-Fi is not provided to the students. I would not recommend staying in the college hostel; it is not good, and the hostel food is very poor. It is better to search for a PG or hostel outside the college campus. A campus clinic is available, and there is a large ground for students interested in sports.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are well-experienced, and the teaching is good. Each course is explained through PowerPoint presentations, and practical sessions are also conducted. In every semester, two CA exams and one model exam are held, and the end-semester exam is conducted shortly after.

Other: I am interested in gaining knowledge in the technical domain, so I chose Computer Science and Engineering. Academic scores alone do not make you skilled; additional courses and language studies are necessary for acquiring more skills.

KCG College of Technology is a really good college.

Placements: KCG College of Technology is one of the more reputed engineering colleges in Chennai. This college placement team brought more MNC companies for these college campus interviews for example Zoho, TCS, HCL, Yamaha, etc. So more than 95 percent of students get better jobs in these companies. Salary ranges from 4–10 LPA.

Infrastructure: This college's infrastructure and laboratories are excellent. There are more courses available and a well-equipped library at this college. More computer labs are available with internet facilities. This college provides good hostel facilities. Hostel food is also more hygienic. Basketball grounds are also here at this college.

Faculty: Our college staff is very friendly and helpful. They are more experienced people. My department teachers are conducting more model exams and extracurricular activities. They also teach more computer courses. That was very helpful to our placements. 95 percent of students passed the semester exams in 2021.

Other: This college course and curriculum were excellent. This college provides college bus transportation. This college conducts more sports events every month. I am choosing the CSC department in this college. We need some improvements in laboratories.

Attend as many hackathons as possible and develop at least one skill to excel in.

Placements: Since I am currently pursuing my studies, I would like to share that last year, about 93% of students were placed in various companies across different departments. The highest package offered so far is around 8 LPA, and many have chosen to pursue higher studies.

Infrastructure: I study in the Computer Science and Engineering department. The labs are clean and neat with AC conditions, and the classrooms have the capacity to accommodate up to 65 members. Wi-Fi is available for hostel students, and the quality of food has improved compared to last year.

Faculty: Since the institution has achieved "Autonomous" status, the syllabus has been relatively changed to align with the latest trends followed by IT companies. Semester exams are not very tough, but if you keep up with daily classes, it will be easy for you.

Other: To the incoming students, as you start this new journey, you will be excited to immerse yourself in a new environment and make new friends. Try your best to interact with seniors because it will enhance your experience. Don't worry about ragging as this institute ensures an anti-ragging campus.

Placements: The eligibility criteria for this course is above 65 percent in your 12th board examination. The highest package offered for our course is 4 LPA. Around 80 percent of students at our college are placed in a good company with many benefits. Dream offer training is also provided to attend interview questions from various companies.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided to work on projects. Classrooms contain single blackboards, single whiteboards and a smart board. The libraries are well air-conditioned and have books in various fields. The hostel facilities are okay, with good food. Medical facilities are also available.
