KEAM B.Pharma merit list is prepared on the basis of index marks calculated as follows:
The Chemistry score obtained from the Paper-I of Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination will be multiplied by 2.25 and added to the Physics score obtained from the Paper-I of the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination. Then the sum so obtained will be multiplied by a factor 2/3 to calculate the index mark for ranking the candidates for the B.Pharma course. The maximum index score will be 480.

In order to understand the KEAM question paper pattern, it is important to study the marking scheme in the exam. The KEAM exam marking scheme is similar to the JEE Main marking scheme. Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer. 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for not attempting a question.

To calculate KEAM rank, the KEAM scores and normalized PCM marks (out of 300) are given equal weightage of 50% each. Assuming that you have scored 183 marks out of 480 in the KEAM exam and 300 marks in PCM, your total score would be:
Total Score = (183/480) x 50 + (300/300) x 50
= 0.381 x 50 + 1 x 50
= 19.05 + 50
= 69.05
Based on your score, it is difficult to accurately predict your rank as it depends on the performance of other candidates in the exam. However, you can use the KEAM Rank Predictor available online to get an estimate of your rank based on your score and category.
