Despite the fact that each persons college experience is unique and depends on their personal interests, the Amritapuri Campus provides a comfortable and tranquil setting. I'm not suggestion that everyone is like this, but most people are kind to one another, which brightens anyone's day. I think there are a few PGs available near Amritapuri Campus within 2-6kms. But almost every student prefer to be in hostels as they provide a different vibe as comapred to. Eventhough the food that they provide in hostel as well as in college is strictly well, we can adjust upto it. In my opinion, being a hosteler will be a good decision. But it is to very much a personal opinion. There are good as well as few PGs out there. If you are a 1st year student, you can enjoy the hostel situated in ashram side itself rather than in the main boys hostel. But soon after the 1st year, you can move to the main hostel where there will be all the senior students. They did it this way just to make sure that there is no ragging for 1st year students in hostel. So, that there will be no ragging in Amrita University.
