Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala, also known as MGU Kerala or MG University is a state-level university that is recognised by the UGC and is accredited with an 'A' Grade by the NAAC. The university was established in 1983. MGU has been given a rank band 501-600 by Times Higher Education 2024. As per the NIRF 2023, MGU is awaded with 31st rank among the top universities in India. According to Mahatma Gandhi University NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during MG University UG 5-year and PG 2-year placements 2022 stood at INR 1.8 LPA and INR 5 LPA, respectively.
