KGMU B Sc Nursing Entrance Exam Dates

The KGMU BSc Nursing admit card will be made available on the official website of KGMU after the conclusion of the application process. Generally, the admit card/hall ticket is released 10-15 days prior to the exam date. Admit cards will be provided online & can be downloaded from the website by individual login by the candidates through their registered email ids.

Candidates who successfully fill the KGMU nursing 2025 application form are issued the KGMU nursing admit card. Candidates who do not carry the admit card to the exam centre will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. 

No, one cannot take admission to any other university or institution by clearing the KGMU nursing exam as no other institute or university accepts KGMU nursing 2025 scores. Only the institutes authorized/affiliated by the KGMU Lucknow are eligible to accept the KGMU BSc Nursing entrance scores.

For admission to KGMU, it is mandatory to appear for CNET exam. NEET UG score is not applicable for admission to BSc nursing programme offered by KGMU, Lucknow. The KGMU entrance exam has been scrapped and only those candidates who clear the CNET 2025 cutoff will be eligible for admission to the prestigious nursing institute. 

Candidates who have cleared class 12 exams or equivalent exams from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects and have secured a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate in class 12 and SC/ST category candidates should have secured 50 per cent in aggregate. Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31^st December 2025. The maximum age limit for admission is 35 years for Unreserved (UR), OBC, EWS, SC and ST, however the maximum Age for candidates with Physical Disability (PH) will be 40 years.

Kings George Medical University, Lucknow was conducted by the institute for admission to the KGMU BSc Nursing course. However, from 2015 onwards, candidates need to appear for the CNET entrance exam to seek admission in the nursing programme. KGMU nursing entrance test does not exist. It was earlier conducted for admission to nursing course offered by the Kings George Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow. In the present scenario, candidates must appear for the CNET entrance exam to be eligible for admission.
