KIIT campus promotes anti-ragging policies with various awareness drives for the students to know the repercussions of the actions. Every campus owns a separate set of security features along with premises separate for girls. There is a separate sports premise for girls and hostel services as well to provide utmost safety and security amidst the campus environment.

The deemed-to-be university ranks 15 as per the NIRF 2024 rankings within the universities category. It ranks 11 in the Law category and 25 in the medical category. As per the latest placement stats, the highest package went around INR 53 LPA. The Institute provides placement cells to train the students and offer them good placement opportunities. The popular programmes that the Institute offers are BTech, BSc, MSc and MBA with more than 100 specialisations. Therefore, it can be concluded that KIIT is a good Institute.
