JECRC University in Jaipur and KIIT University in Bhubaneswar both offer strong B.Tech CSE programs, but they differ in focus and environment. JECRC is known for its student-centric approach, emphasizing innovation and practical skills, with strong industry connections in North India. KIIT, however, is renowned for its extensive research facilities and global collaborations, providing a more diverse cultural exposure. The university offers admission to most of the programmes based on KIITEE. KIIT admissions are both merit as well as entrance-based. Interested candidates have to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria, followed by the other selection rounds as per the admission process to secure their seat at KIIT. However, you cannot take admission directly in the 2nd year. You have to study the first year in order to be eligible for second year. Sometimes it is only possible through lateral entry.
