The KIITEE B.Tech exam is conducted online and the question paper will be available in English language. It is a computer-based test with a time duration of three hours. For B.Tech courses, the KIITEE question paper will contain Physics (40 questions), Chemistry (40 questions), and Mathematics (40 questions). Candidates appearing for the examination must finish their test within the allotted time. The dates for the KIITEE 2025 exam will be announced soon on the official website.

The exam pattern of KIITEE 2025 B.Tech is as follows -

  • It is a computer-based (online) entrance test

  • The language of the question paper is English

  • The time duration of the KIITEE is three hours.

  • The questions are in an objective-based format.

  • The KIITEE B.Tech question paper will contain Physics (40 questions), Chemistry (40 questions), and Mathematics (40 questions)

  • The KIITEE question paper carries a total of 120 questions.

  • For each correct question, four marks are awarded, and for each incorrect answer, -1 mark is deducted.

No, KIITEE exam eligibility for the B.Tech course requires a minimum of 60% marks from a recognised board/institute. In addition, the candidate must have Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.

The qualifying marks for the KIITEE are different for each stream or discipline. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying mark will be eligible for further admission. 

  • For BTech programmes of four years duration, the applicant must have passed 10+2 in 2024 or 2025 or must be appearing in the final year examination. The minimum qualifying mark for BTech admission is 60% in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. 

  • BTech and MTech Biotechnology's minimum qualifying mark is 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. 

  • For MTech courses, B.E or BTech or any equivalent specialisation in a relevant engineering and technolog

The KIITEE entrance exam for LLM admissions is held in multiple stages every year. The first stage of the KIITEE test scheduled for the 2024 session was held in late March. This entrance test proves to be an important examination for students looking to get admitted to the LLM programme at the KIIT School of Law. After the examination, results will be declared. Qualified candidates will go through a counselling process for seat allocation. The KIITEE cutoffs are generally released in phases. However, the cutoffs for all phases are already have been released. You can find them on the  KIITEE website You should find a notification or link stating "KIITEE 2024 Cutoff" or "KIITEE Phase-wise Cut-off Ranks".
