Kishinchand Chellaram College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
| Courses | Eligibility |

| B.Voc | Candidates who must have passed 12th or equivalent examination are eligible. |
| B.Sc. | Candidate who have pass 12th from regonized board are eligible to apply. |
| B.A. | Candidate who have passed 12th from recognised board are eligible to apply. |
| BPA | Candidate who have 12th standard from any recognised board are eligible to apply. |
| M.A. | Candidate who have passed Bachelor of Arts from this universuty or other recognised university are eligible to apply (40% marks in aggregate in case of Reserved category candidates). |
| M.Sc. | Candidate who have pass B.Sc. from universities other than Mumbai University and seeking admissions to first year M.Sc. are also eligible to apply. |
| BBA | Candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognised educational board. Candidate appeared for 10+2 exam and is waiting for the result can also apply. |
| B.Com | Candidate passed 12th/equivalent from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply. Candidate passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate examination with vocational subjects are eligible to apply. |
| M.Com | Candidates completed degree of Bachelor of Commerce (three years/Six Semester integrated course) or the degree B.Com. (Old Course) or the other Semester based Programmes i.e. Bachelor of Commerce (Banking & Insurance) or Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) or Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Markets) or Bachelor of Management Studies (B.M.S.) from any recognised institute/university are eligible to apply. |
