To get a seat at Kishinchand Chellaram College for the BCom, BA, BSc and other UG-level courses, students have to first register for admission on the HSNC University (HSNCU) portal, choose KC College as a preference, and submit the required documents.
The college then releases the merit list. Students who meet the required cutoff should submit all the required documents and pay the course fee online.

For the General AI category, admission to the BCom course was possible at a percentile of 91. For the OBC AI category, the round 2 cutoff for the B.Com in Accounting and Finance (B.A.F) course was 88.

For the General AI category, the minimum percentile needed was 61, according to the 2nd round of counselling. This percentile was for the B.A. in Film Making and Media Production course.

BSc at KC College are offered in four different specialisation including BSc in Biotechnology, Computer Science, Information Technology and Web and Emerging Technologies. The course fee is INR 56.85 K to INR 3.21 L.
