There are also scholarships that KL University offers for B.Sc. in Agriculture, which include merit-based scholarships for scoring higher than 85% in 10+2. This gives students a 50% tuition fee waiver.
There is also KLU merit scholarship, which gives an annual reward of INR 25,000-1 Lacs on the basis of entrance exam (KLEEE) or board exam performance. B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering has better placement offers compared to B.Tech in Civil Engineering in KL University. For 2024, the average package of Mechanical graduates in India by L and T, Tata Motors, averaged between INR 6-8 LPA, owing to the increasing demand in the manufacturing and automotive sectors.0

On the other hand, the civil engineering graduates averaged around INR 5-7 LPA, but with fewer companies such as Shapoorji Pallonji, the scope is average due to a sluggish market in the infrastructure sector. On the contrary, KL has a strong placement cell of 90%+ rates, thus giving it an edge over Civil at Guntur.

Direct admission to B.Arch in KL University is certainly possible through the management quota. Admission in this regard must be communicated directly to the office, thereby disregarding KLEEE or NATA entrance examinations. Requirements include obtaining 50% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
In a few cases, a valid NATA score may be required. However, it may also be exempted at the discretion of the management. Basically, the first step follows the formal submission of marks via mark sheets and ID proof followed by payment of a higher fee than the normal procedure.

KL University's MBA programme in Finance has a better placement record in comparison with other branches such as Marketing or HR. According to the placement reports from 2024, more than 400 companies including Deloitte and ICICI Bank favoring finance graduates due to the demand in banking, investment, and analytics sectors.

Finance students grab most of the packages in the range of INR 8-10 LPA which is much higher than Marketing (INR 7-9 LPA) or HR (INR 6-8 LPA). KL- University is not located in Telangana; the university is mainly in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. It also has a campus in Hyderabad in Telangana. I am not a supporter of anyone saying this as the best institution in Telangana. However, competing with IIM Visakhapatnam (in Andhra Pradesh) or University of Hyderabad in Telangana are institutions with greater national rankings. However, within private universities, KL University enjoys a respectable reputation for its Hyderabad campus for engineering and management studies, with great placements (90%+ rates).

The expected LLM programme fees at KL University are about INR 1.5 Lacs to INR 2 Lacs for the one-year programme based on recent fee structures for postgraduate programs at this private deemed university in Guntur.
This excludes hostel costs (INR 50,000-70,000 per year) and library charges (INR 5,000-10,000), which are other incidental costs. Fees for this programme may see slight changes in 2025 in view of annual revisions. Therefore, prospective students are strongly advised to confirm the fees in full detail with the admissions office of the university at the time of application.

The latest cutoff information for BA LLB admissions for the year 2024 at KL University is based on the KL University Law Entrance Exam (KLULEE) or CLAT scores.

The CLAT cut-offs have, generally, been from 60 to 70 percentile, whereas KLULEE is granting admission based on a minimum of having secured 50-60% marks in the entrance exam along with at least 50% in 10+2 marks. The cut-offs vary according to categories and seat matrices at the Guntur campus.

Based on private university trends for CAT acceptance, KL University in 2024 set average CAT score cutoffs between 60 and 70 percentile for admission to the MBA program.

While CAT scores are accepted, KL primarily uses its own KLMAT for admission into the MBA program. Actual cutoff marks vary from year to year based on the performance of the candidates and availability of seats at its Guntur and Hyderabad campuses.

KL University 2024 reports place the average package at INR 7.8 LPA for B.Tech students. This average, while representing overall placement statistics for all branches, implies an average of more than 10 LPA for Computer Science and Engineering owing to its demand, whereas Mechanical or Civil could be around INR 6-7 LPA

. A strong placement drive consisted of over 4,000 selections and 400+ recruiters, including Deloitte and Infosys. This number has risen from INR 6.6 LPA in 2022 and can be taken as a reflection of better networking done by the industry and preparation of the students.
