As per annual report 2022, the college recorded 82% placement rate during NIFT Gandhinagar placements. However, as per Shiksha review, NIFT Kolkata recorded 80% students were placed for BDes students during the recent placement drive. This is to note that, the placement rate mentioned for NIFT Kolkata is gathered from Shiksha review. Hence, the stats may vary further.

Since, NIFT conducts a centralised placement drive across all NIFT campuses, the institute has not released an exclusive placement report 2023. However, the following points might help students in order to prepare for NIFT placement drive:

The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses. under general category for all India quota was 19169. In 2022, it decreased to 14859. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 19186 to 22100 for OBC, 99214 to 91272 for SC, 107455 to 130612 for ST, 19594 to 16248 for EWS, 838115 to 586341 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for medical education in India continues to grow.

Calcutta National Medical College Kolkata will release 4-5 rounds of NEET cutoffs for admission to medical courses. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
The NEET score of the candidate
The category of the candidate
The number of seats available in the course

For last year, the closing rank for MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery was 14859 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Calcutta National Medical College Kolkata.

Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata cutoff 2022 for MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery other than General category are mentioned below:
- 22100 for OBC
- 91272 for SC

Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state.
