Choosing a University is a big decision, as our career fully depends upon that. There are some key parameters that we should keep in mind before choosing any University, like, faculty, placements, international exposure, curriculum, alumni of that university. Being a student of LPU, I think I can provide you with an honest opinion. Though I'm not pursuing BCA but I do have my friends who are pursuing the same. One of my friend told me that In BCA you will learn about some interesting subjects like Mathematics, Computer Programming, Computer Networking, Database Management Systems and, Software Engineering. Besides the core compulsory subjects, students can choose from a wide variety of subjects as their pathway elective or minor elective. The curriculum is revised occasionally to keep students up-to-date and industry ready. They give a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Don't miss out on that as in the end, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, are an integral part of the curriculum. You'll get many opportunities like coding events, hackathons and a lot more in LPU so that you can improve your skills, You will be able to achieve various certifications, which help you in getting better placements. LPU provides Separate laboratories for all the domains: Programming Lab, Networking Lab, Systems and Architecture Lab, Databases Lab, Software Engineering Lab. He has attended one day workshop on Digital Electronics was also organized by school of computer applications where students of BCA were taken to the digital lab where they got the live exposure to working on the instruments and equipment used in digital electronics. One day Workshop on Development of Mini MOOCs and Video Lectures was organized by School of Computer Applications. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered is between 9 LPA to 11 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, TCS and many other companies visit our campus for placements. But this is BCA that's why a lot of students think to do MCA from foreign universities. LPUs course curriculum is in line with industry requirements. Additionally, skills gained through hands-on experience with internships at international brands make our students highly employable.

There are many things on which you can compare the institutions, but I suggest you the following parameters:
Curriculum : If curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy forms the backbone of how the programme is delivered, more the practical
Entrepreneurship : These days, the jobs are also kind of business, you have to OWN the processes or parts of processes, you need to show the profitability of your own center ! The exposure to entrepreneurship is must. Community development: To develop the humane side of students as well as the organizing, convincing and event management skills of the students. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills etc. Are given high importance in the organisations. Do the curators keep this in mind while developing the programme curriculum? Diversity: As the world shrinks into a aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross cultural teams having entirely different work culture and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in university is helpful in enabling the students develop right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Industry interface: Ultimately its the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships. Placements: Since the ultimate aim of attaining a skill/knowledge/degree is to have a career, it is desirable that whichever university you chose, It must have good industry linkages to attract the good recruiters. The management programs at LPU are highly reputed and now raked among the top 50 by NIRF as well as ATAL rankings by MHRD ! Most intriguing part is the accreditation with AACBSP which is not easy to get. In 16 years of my career, I have found the LPU has done some stellar work in education, its heavy and smart investments in intellectual capital are the primary reason for this. More than 700 companies coming to campus for recruitment is a proof enough of its prowess in the education space. You have an easy choice here, LPU is the way forward. DVD.
