Fee varies from semester to semester. For all the eight semesters tuition fee is same and I will be around 105000. Hostel and mess fee starts at 45000 in the first semester and they increase about 5000 per year. Along with these there are Rs. 950 towards medical insurance, Rs. 10000 towards caution deposit, Rs. 750 towards sports fee & Rs. 750 towards mess fee. The fee is same for all students irrespective of branches. The fee details may change from time to time it is advisable to visit IIIT Kottayam website regularly.

Choosing by comparing the two programs only based on the college and course names is not fair and not correct. Both IIIT Kottayam and NIT Calicut are respected universities with unique advantages.
