The admissions at IIMC, Kottayam are merit-based. The candidates who have qualified the online IIMC entrance exam conducted by NTA are eligible to apply for the admission. The entrance exam is held twice a year, in June and December, and consists of two papers: Paper I (General English) and Paper II (Journalism).
