SKCET - Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| MSc | Candidates must have Bachelor's degree with Science stream from the recognised institute are eligible to apply. |
| BE/ BTech | Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. |
| MCA | Candidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. |
| ME/ MTech | Candidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. |

Krishna Engineering College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate who has passed Diploma in Engineering/Architecture from a recognised board/university with 45% marks for UR category (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC and PWD category of Chattisgarh) can also apply for the course. Candidate passing 10th/12th through distance learning/open school shall be eligible for admission. Candidate passed Diploma programme through distance learning shall not be eligible to apply. If the candidate has passed 10+2 examination, but failed in one or more compulsory subject than the candidate shall not be considered eligible for admission. If the candidate is declared passed with grace as per the rule of related board than the candidate shall be eligible to apply. Candidate Upper age limit is 30 years for UR category, 35 years for PWD who belongs to UR category of Chattisgarh, 33 years for SC/ST/OBC and Female category of Chattisgarh, and 38 years for PWD who belongs to SC/ST/OBC and female category of Chattisgarh as on 1st of July of academic year. |
