If you're unable to pass a course you will have to pursue the course again and obtain a C or better. But it should be noted that your original grade will be considered in your cumulative record and in calculating GPA.

A conditional offer letter is provided to those students who meet all the requirements set by the university except for language proficiency. Those whose admission is conditional will have to enroll in ELS language centre classes and complete the level 112 Intensive Program.

Students applying for admission at Lamar University must be holding either TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE scores. TOEFL scores have to be submitted directly from ETS and IELTS scores can be verified after submitting your scanned green scoresheet. As far as PTE scores are concerned, the admission office should be intimated and the same should be authorized to be released to the university.
