The admission process in National Law University Assam is based on common law admission test.
The process for applying is
Register for CLAT through its official website
Fill the application form with proper details, pay the application form fee.
The minimum eligibility is to have minimum of 45 percent in class 12th
The applicants Must be submit their marksheet aswell.

National Law University & Judicial Academy, Assam application process 2025 for the Law course is completely based on CLAT. Candidates are required to pay a fee for CLAT application fee. For General /OBC /PWD /PIO /OCI /NRI category candidates, the application fee is INR 4,000; for SC /ST /BPL category candidates, the application fee is INR 3,500. National Law University Assam fee for BA LLB programme is INR 4 lakh. The fee structure is cumulative of multiple components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, medical insurance, mess and other security deposits, etc. Out of all these fee components, there are a few components that are charged one-time by NLU Assam, while some have to be paid semester-wise, such as tuition fees.
