The only fee concession offered by National Law School of India University, Bangalore to the BA (hons) students is in the security deposit to be paid at the time of admissions.

The security deposit for the SC/ST category students is INR 18,800 while the general category candidates are charged INR 23,700.

The last date to apply for the National Law School of India University, Bangalore BA (hons) admissions was March 23 for the academic year 2026. This is the deadline for NLSAT-BA which is a mandatory entrance exam for BA (hons) admissions. Candidates were allowed to apply till 11:59 PM of the aforementioned date.

One of the toughest law schools in Jabalpur would be the Dharmashastra National Law University for its CLAT entrance exam. Most of the other law colleges in Jabalpur do not require this entrance exam, and they are merit-based.

Students have to submit some documents during National Law School of India University, Bangalore admission and application. The general list is as below:

  1. Class 10 marksheet/ Certificate

  2. Class 12 marksheet/ certificate

  3. Entrance exam scorecard
  4. Recent coloured passport-size photo

  5. Any one of the following Government issued Identity Card:
    a) Driver's License
    b) Aadhaar card
    c) Passport
    d) Ration card

  6. Migration/ Transfer certificate

  7. LLB marks sheet/ equivalent degree certificate (for LLM)

  8. LLM mark sheet (for PhD)

National Law School of India University, Bangalore admissions are entrance-based. The university accepts and conducts law entrance tests. The tests are as below:

  • CLAT
  • NLSAT-MPP
  • NLSAT-LLB
  • NLSAT-PhD

Yes, an average student can get in National Law School of India University, Bangalore. The university is one of the top-ranked law schools of the country. Admissions are very competitive. But, with right planning, students can crack the entrance test/ selection rounds.

National Law School of India University, Bangalore generally does not offer direct admissions. Students have to meet the admission requirements. This includes appearing for CLAT/ other tests. Students can check the official site to know more.

No, candidates cannot join the NLSIU directly; they have to appear for the CLAT entrance examination to be eligible for the course.

No, students have to appear for a (CLAT) Common Law Admission Test entrance examination to be eligible for admission at NLSIU. There is no direct admission.
