Yes, BA LLB is offered by the university. Check the eligibility criteria below:
1. Passed Senior Secondary School (10+2) or equivalent or (11+1) 'A' level in Senior School Leaving certificate course from a recognised Board in India or abroad.
2. Minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying or higher examination- 45% (General Category) & 40% (SC/ST).
3. Preference given to candidates who have appeared / cleared CLAT/LSAT/AILET (any one)
4. Mandatory personal interview conducted by the University.

No, for the General AI category students, the CLAT Round 1 cutoff saw a drop in the closing ranks, i.e. 1141, as compared to last year for admission to the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) courses. In 2025, the first round closing rank for the same course was 1278 in the General category. The drop in the cutoff rank this year indicates high demand for the BA LLB (Hons) course of NLU Patna.
