There are around 12 law colleges in Jabalpur. 8 are private and 2 are government institutions. Among the most popular are NLU Jabalpur, Hitkarini Law College, Mother Teresa Law College, A P Narmada, Mangalayatan University, and RDVV.

The best law college in Jabalpur can depend on your academic requirements and the courses like LLB, BA LLB, or LLM you choose to pursue. Overall, Hitakrini Law College has been considered the best, given its status as the city's the oldest institution and its long list of alumni. But the recently established NLU Jabalpur is also among the best law colleges in Jabalpur.

Private law colleges in Jabalpur are generally affordable. The tuition fees for most of these for LLB and LLM courses range from INR 36K. The integrated 5-year law courses, however, can get a little more expensive at the private law institutes in Jabalpur.

Yes, you can pursue an LLB from most law colleges in Jabalpur without appearing for CLAT. In fact, a majority of the private and one govt. institutes that are BCI-approved and long-established, such as Hitkarini Law College and Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya provide admissions based on merit. Only NLU Jabalpur accepts CLAT scores.

The fee would greatly depend on wether you are a karnatak domicile student or not but it would typically be around 8 Lacs to 11 Lacs for the whole duration of the 5 year programme. Also this fee doesn't includes the hostel or mess fee it's just the tuition fee.
