No, lateral entry is not available for integrated law courses like BBA LLB Hons at Dr. M.G.R Educational and Research Institute or most other law colleges. These courses are designed as five-year integrated programs starting after Class 12, with no provision for mid-course entry. You would need to apply as a fresh candidate through the regular admission process, which may involve an entrance test or merit-based selection. The institute offers a strong curriculum, moot court training, and internship opportunities for students aspiring to build careers in law and business.

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) conducts its own entrance test for LLB admissions. The exam evaluates legal reasoning, general knowledge, current affairs, and language skills. Students who pass the test are called for counselling and seat allocation. To be eligible, you must have completed a bachelor's degree with at least fifty percent marks. The annual fee for the LLB programme is quite affordable, usually around ten thousand to fifteen thousand rupees. AMU is renowned for its excellent faculty, moot court training, and a rich legal curriculum that provides both theoretical and practical exposure to aspiring law professionals.

You qualify to do a 3 year LLB (Bachelor of Legislative Law) course assuming you have a BA in English Literature. This is the one followed mostly by graduates of whichever field. You will have a deep knowledge of other fields of law such as the Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, or Contract Law. The admission is normally based on the entrance examination such as CUET LLB, MH CET Law or admission to a particular university through some specific entrance exam. Following LLB, you can follow up an LLM as a specialist or be a lawyer.
