The core subjects studied at almost every level of the Criminal Law course are Foundations of Criminal Law, Indian Penal Code (IPC), Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), Criminology & Penology, Legal Research Methodology, etc.
Core subjects are the mandatory subjects that every student in a programme needs to study and pass.

No, they are not. Online Criminal Law Diplomas are not sufficient to practice as a Lawyer in India. In fact, the BCI does not approve many degrees and certifications done online or in a distance learning mode.
There are certain eligibility requirements that need to be fulfilled for legal practice. You need to have a full-time bachelor's degree in Law and then pass the AIBE exam and obtain a "Certificate of Practice".

As per the CLAT RGNUL 2nd cut off 2025, the closing rank for general category candidate is 1260 through All India counselling. There is no state quota seats available at NLU Patiala in the 2nd allotment list.
So you can't expect with rank 2460.With the general category.I think there are good opportunities ahead with your rank.

Yes. Candidates must pay the prescribed counselling/admission fee during the counselling process to confirm their seat. The exact amount will be mentioned in the official counselling notification. Payment can usually be made via demand draft, online transfer, or other modes specified by AMU. This fee is separate from the entrance exam application fee and is often adjusted against the first-semester tuition fee. Failure to pay within the given time will result in cancellation of the allotted seat. Keep the payment receipt safely as proof of admission confirmation.
