Being a corporate lawyer in India, particularly at a Tier 1 or 2 law firm, is very challenging, but can be extremely gratifying to NLU graduates. duties include long hours, high stress, high-stakes deals, mergers and lawsuits. NLU lawyers tend to be well-trained in such a rapid workplace and are supposed to exhibit superior legal skills and strength. This is one of the careers that have huge financial reward besides unequivocal professional enhancement.

See, you don't really get to choose a specialisation at the LLB level. This option is available only for LLM students. At the LLB level, you'll learn about a blend of legal specializations, mainly Criminal Law, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property, etc. This is because, to start a legal journey, it's essential to grasp a basic understanding of every Law area, and then you'll be able to decide the path you want in the future effectively.

No, you cannot directly pursue LLM from Kurushetra University after doing a Bachelor's in Academic Law from Annamalai University. As the eligibility criteria for LLM includes a professional qualifying law degree, such as LLB, while Bachelors in Academic Law is an academic degree. Candidates must pursue a LLB before being qualified to pursue LLM from Kurukshetra University.
