KCC ILHE is generally considered a Tier 2 institution. While it offers quality education and has good infrastructure, it does not rank among the top-tier institutions in India. Tier classifications can vary based on different ranking agencies and criteria. Student reviews on the Shiksha website suggest that this institute provides great placement opportunities to students.

The CLAT cutoff for OBC category candidates has ranged from around 90-160 marks in recent years, depending on the NLIU, the exam's difficulty, and the availability of seats. For top NLUs, the OBC cutoff is typically in the range of 120-160 marks, whereas mid-tier and lower-tier NLUs have a slightly lower cutoff.
