In India, two main groups of people can pursue Constitutional Law:

Candidates need to pass BA/ BSc/ BCom./ Shastri with a minimum of 50% aggregate to apply for Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University LLB (Hons). As per directive of the Bar Council of India, aspirants who have obtained Class 12 or graduation/ Post-graduation via open Universities system directly without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies are not eligible for admission in Law Courses.

There are a minimum of 37 and maximum of 74 seats in BA LLB (Hons) course of Faculty of Law BHU. Candidates are offered seat in the course based on CUET-UG score. Out of the total intake, some percentage of seats are reserved for reserved category candidates. There is 15% reservation for SC, 7.5% for ST, 10% for EWS, 27% for OBC and 5% for PwD.
