The CLAT entrance exam is approved as a valid admission exam by NLU Assam. CLAT 2023 was finished after Round 5 for admission to the BA LLB and LLM degrees. According to the NLUJAA cutoff 2023, the most recent round closing rank for BA LLB (Hons) was 2569, and for LLM, it was 2621. The NLUJAA cutoff for BA LLB in 2023 closed at 2271, slightly higher than the cutoff in 2022, which closed at 1765, based on the CLAT cutoff for the preceding three years. After Round 1, NLUJAA closing ranks were increasing for both BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes, based on a comparison of the rounds.

As of right now, the official college website has not made any information about LLM placement available. The NIRF report has information on the placements of BA LLB. In the official site of the college, the placement details for the graduating course of 2023 are still pending. Nonetheless, the institute has posted the NIRF report for 2023 on its official website. According to the NIRF report 2023, one BA LLB (Hons) student was placed in NLU Assam placements in 2021. Furthermore, the median package offered to BA LLB students during NLU Assam postings in 2021 was INR 7.63 L annually.

The fees for UG Courses at UILS Chandigarh Courses are - 

  1. Ba LLB. ( HONS ) - 4.8 L ( Eligibility -12th Examination Passed with minimum 50% Marks . And also Supports Entrance - PU UGLAW
  2. B.Com LLB - 4.8 L, Eligibility - 10+2 with minimum 50% and in entrance -PU UGLAW
  3. LLM - 1.1L, Eligibility - Graduation with 55% marks and Exams passed - PU-CET (PG) 

The total Course fees of each Courses are mentioned in the top .

In order to study a BA LLB at NLU Assam, candidates must have received at least a 45% in their class 12 test. The candidate must have completed his 10+2 or equivalent with the above-mentioned marks from any accredited board or council in order to be eligible for admission to the LLB programme. Applicants may also appear if they plan to take their qualifying exam in March or April of 2024. At the time of admission, the candidate must present the results of the qualifying exam, or 10+2, in order to be admitted; otherwise, they will not be allowed. Moreover, CLAT is the entrance exam required for admission to NLU.

50% in LLB is the minimum requirement to enrol in NLU Assam's LLM programme. Candidates must have passed the LL.B. degree requirements or an equivalent test with the required scores from any accredited college or university. Applicants may also appear if they plan to take their qualifying exam in April or May of 2024.Admission to all programmes at National Law University Assam is handled online using the school's official website. Registration for the LLM programme at NLU Assam is done through CLAT for admissions. CNLU's official website is where candidates must apply for CLAT.

The Entrance exam for the Bcom LLB (Hons) and BA LLB (Hons) Programme is PU UGLAW and for the LLM programme it is based on PU-CET (PG) . 

Students must have minimum 50% marks in Class 12th Examination and Entrance examinations . 

The admission is done through the merit and Entrance based examination .

If your CLAT score is in the 75 percentile, you can try in NLU Assam for LLM. Applicants who score between 78 and 85 on the CLAT 2024 have a high chance of getting into one of the top three NLUs. Following Round 5 for admission to the BA LLB and LLM programmes, CLAT 2023 was completed. The last round closing rank for LLM, according to the NLUJAA cutoff 2023, is 2621. For NLU admissions 2023 to BA LLB and LLM programmes, the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) publishes institute- and course-specific CLAT Provisional Allotment lists on the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2023.

Candidates who wish to pursue BA LLB at NLU Assam must have obtained a minimum of 45% in class 12 exam. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to LLB is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with above mentioned marks from any recognised board/council. Candidates who may be appearing for their qualifying examination in March/ April, 2024 are also eligible to appear. Candidate must submit result of the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) at the time of admission, failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission. Further the entrance exam for admission to NLU is CLAT.
