Following Round 5 for admission to the LLM programme, CLAT 2023 was completed. The NLUJAA cutoff 2023 indicates that 2621 is the final round closing rank for LLM. The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) releases CLAT Allotment lists for admission to 22 National Law Universities in India, including NLUJAA, each year. NLU Assam recognises the CLAT entrance exam as an accepted entrance exam. Following Round 5 for admission to the BA LLB and LLM programmes, CLAT 2023 was completed. The latest round closing rank for BA LLB (Hons) was 2569, and for LLM, it was 2621, according to the NLUJAA cutoff 2023. In terms of the CLAT cutoff for the previous three years, the NLUJAA cutoff for BA LLB in 2023 closed at 2271, which is marginally higher than the cutoff in 2022, which closed at 1765. NLUJAA closing ranks were rising for both BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes following Round 1, according to an analysis of the round-by-round comparison.

The official college website currently has not released any information regarding the placement of LLM. Details regarding the placements of BAs and LLBs are available in the NIRF report. The placement information for the 2023 graduating class is still pending in the official site. On its official website, the institute has, nevertheless, made available the NIRF report for 2023. One BA LLB (Hons) student was placed at NLU Assam placements in 2021, according the NIRF report 2023. Additionally, INR 7.63 LPA was the median package provided to BA LLB students during NLU Assam placements in 2021.

At NLU Assam, there are 30 available seats for LLM. At the postgraduate level, NLU Assam provides a one-year LLM programme. Students may apply if they have a valid CLAT exam score and satisfy the minimal eligibility requirements. An undergraduate degree with a 50% cumulative GPA is the primary qualifying requirement, and the CLAT entrance exam is accepted. The tuition fee structure is 55 K in total. Based on the available information I can provide you a general outline of both the college. Nalsar University of Law offers 10 courses under LLM while NLU Assam offers only 8 specialisations. The median salary package is announced as INR 7 L for Nalsar and no information regarding the placement is yet published for NLU Assam. The total tution cost per year is estimated to be 65 K at Nalsar University and it is calculated to be 55 K at NLU Assam, making it compartively less than Nalsar. The accepted entrance exams for admission to Nalsar are TS PGLCET, CLAT, while NLU Assam accepts only CLAT.
