The National University of Advance Legal Studies, Kochi, is one of the best and top state universities in Kerala, having been founded in 2005. .The NLU is recognised by the UGC and is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). They provide the best facilities and offer several programmes specialising in UG, PG, and PhD programmes.

The cutoff for B.A. LL.B. (Hons) varies from university to university, but you need to score at least 78–90 percentile in the accepted entrance examination to get admission to top universities like NUALS.

In most universities, admission is done on the basis of the rank achieved by the candidate. The higher the rank, the easier it is to gain admission to top law schools.

We are not exactly sure about that, because cuttoff varies every year. But you must score 80 to 85% or above in CLAT to get into the National University of Advance Legal Studies, Kochi.

 it is one of the most demanding universities, many candidates want to get admitted, so every year the cutoff goes high. but it's happening every year.

The National University of Advance Legal Studies, Kochi, has above-average placements.

But the placements are getting better year to year.

In the last few years, the National University of Advance Legal Studies Kochi has shown an increase in the number of students placed as well as the amount of packages offered over the last few years. About 50–60% of students get placed every year, but we can see an increase in the number of students placed. Last year, 10 LPA was the average package of NUALS received by their students.
