No, NALSAR University of Law does not grant admission without CLAT score. Hence, the course aspirants must take the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and secure a valid score. CLAT is a pen and paper based test conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). After the entrance exam, cutoff marks are announced. Candidates who meet the cutoff criteria become eligible for participation in the CLAT counselling.

The Symbiosis Law accepst a total of 120 students to pursue BA LLB (Hons) programme for the academic year 2025. The seats are alloted based on the merit/entrance exam scores. Moreover, the law school may follow the seat reservation policy of the state or central government.
