The institute does not specify an acceptance rate; however, it is very selective when it comes to admitting students to its courses.

As per the official data available on its website, it only accepts 30 to 35 students every year to its MIA programme. Its Ph.D. programme sees only 5-8 highly qualified candidates being selected every year, thus showcasing how tricky it is to get admitted to the institute.
