Yes, you heard it right, there is no entrance test for LL.B. Until you want a good college. For good colleges you need to take CLAT entrance exam. The Common Law Admission Test is a centralized national-level entrance test for admissions to 24 National Law Universities except NLU Delhi which takes admissions All India Law Entrance Test. A few private and self-financed law schools in India also use these scores for law admissions.

The entrance test has a total of 100 questions with 100 marks to be attempted in 90 minutes. 60 questions will be based on Testing General Knowledge and Current Affairs 20 Aptitude for Law, 10 Testing Mental Ability, and the rest of the 10 questions testing English Language. The minimum cut-off mark required for qualifying entrance tests is 15% (For General). So the marks between 50-60 are good enough for admission in integrated law courses.

You can just take help of any good book used for CLAT UG preperation.for current affair you can follow newspaper/ online media.
Eligibility for LL.B I.P) from IIT Khargpur-
First Class Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine or equivalent.OR
First Class Masters Degree in Science or Pharmacy or equivalent.OR
First Class MBA Degree with any of the above
Admission is based on a all India level common entrance test or sometime on basis of merit of qualifying marks.So one need to have good CGPA score.
One can visit the official website to get latest update for important dates.February to March is a crucial time.
