Need better administration.
Placements: We have to fetch for our own internships. Feels compared to other government colleges is too high. But great teachers and office staff. Since it is a branch of the Calcutta University, degree is still valuable. More than half of the students do not attend class on a regular basis.
Infrastructure: No hostel or canteen. Contains library and mini gym. Classrooms are spacious. Even if no hostel but canteen must be set up in college and also lesser political party intervention would really help with ongoing fiasco. This really needs to be taken care of.
Faculty: Some teachers are extremely helpful and kind. College office staff is also very supportive and helpful. But college authorities is questionable as any batch of students be it passed out or current are allowed to hold random campaigns and even put up posters in college or have physical fight in college.
Other: Feels should be lowered.

The environment on the campus is very amazing.
Placements: Placements in our college are not good. Very hard-working students get themselves placed but there is no role played by the college. Try to get a good grade in your academic curriculum. If you are looking for placement then think before admission but if you are planning for judiciary or civil services then I would recommend joining this college.
Infrastructure: The building is decent but very small. There is a gym and an elevator because the building is so tall. Our campus is not even 1 acre but it is in the main town. There is no problem with transportation. I am unsatisfied with the infrastructure of this college but it is not that bad.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good. Before the covid outbreak, even some judges of Calcutta Highcourt also came to teach us. Semester exams are a bit difficult but normally everyone passes. Yet they score less marks. I suggest you study from semester 1 so that you will understand the basic concepts well.
Other: There are many other activities. A lot of fests are held. A lot of sports and events are held. Many scholarships are also given by our college.

Sometimes I'm very dissatisfied with the faculty members; they don't want to take any responsibility
Placements: We have 180 students in our 1st semester batch. They divided us into 2 sections, Section A and Section B. Our college gives us the opportunity to participate in debates and moot court. Sometimes later, we get the chance to go to the Alipur Court, which is the nearest court to our college.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are very neat and clean. The college has a great library, and they provided us with our own library card to borrow books for 1 month or more. We don't have a canteen yet, which is the biggest and most serious problem. We have to go outside the college for food.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful; they have great experience. They teach us very politely and make difficult things so much easier. Some students are not interested in our contact classes, but it is their choice—what should we do about that? Overall, it is good.
Other: The best thing about my college is that it is a government college. The fee structure is quite affordable compared to those of private colleges. This is the plus point.

It is an affordable college for the law course. Students should have the knowledge to get admission.
Placements: It is a government college, so faculty members don't work hard to provide placements here. One of the main features is it is affordable. In the profession of a law, a student required the degree mainly so they can practice in court in 5th year. Almost 90% of students get into any kind of internship.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi facility and journals filled library for students. Computer labs are not needed in our course, but we have a well-decorated computer lab. It is almost new as we have never used it. The college also has a gym centre which has many workout instruments.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. Most often, the teacher takes extra time to complete the lecture. Law department isn't that good. Teaching staff members are incredible, and they are now doing LL.B. It doesn't mean you will succeed. Don't expect any help about your future jobs. The college provides students with a law degree at a very affordable price. So that's why it is high rated college.
Other: The college organises huge fests with tons of extracurricular activities. I have chosen this course because of the current situation in the country. Any time you can get kicked out. If you have knowledge and power of the judiciary, it doesn't hurt you and current market making a lot of crime. Hence the profit of laser is more.

It's a good college to study.
Placements: Placement drives were not conducted in our college. Every student has to do internships for at least three months, and they need to arrange it on their own. Usually, students practice in private chambers or try to get a job in any law firm after graduating. Law firms offer at least Rs. 5,000 per month in the beginning.
Infrastructure: Computers were not available for students usage. Wi-Fi facility was not available. The canteen was too small. The hostel faculty was not available. Sports was encouraged but only for boys. Apart from that, other things were good. Classrooms were big enough. Safe drinking water was available.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were always helpful, and they were all highly qualified. They were always updated and knowledgeable. They possess very good communication skills. They used to encourage students. Classroom teaching was followed here. They also provided technical knowledge.
Other: Fests and freshers are conducted yearly.

Teaching staff and college management are very good, and the infrastructure is good.
Placements: The college currently does not have any placement cell because it is a government college. But, the students of SCLC are working in a large number of law firm across the globe. Students are working with India's renowned law firms like Khaitan & Co., etc.
Infrastructure: The campus currently has two buildings. A digital notice board is available. Projectors are available in all classrooms. There are separate common rooms for boys and girls. Sanitary napkin vending machine is also available. The college has an e-library with a large number of books. Automatic lift facilities are available. Ramp facilities are available for handicapped people. The campus has CCTV cameras for high security. Sports facilities are available. A gymnasium is available for students.
Faculty: B.A. LLB, and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) courses are offered in the college. The college will start offering LLM course as well. Teachers are very well qualified and experienced. Quality of teaching is very good. The college also has some guests lecturers along with the full-time lecturers and contractual lecturers. Teachers give pay attention to every student.
Other: The college conducts its annual fest called Atharva every year. Saraswati Puja is celebrated in the college every year.
